Ive never done a blog but im starting one to help those with CF or any illness who are in the end- stages of the illness, whether it be CF or cancer or something else. God is something i believe in and faith is what really gets me through the day.
Psalm 143:8
"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life."
Now if you don't know what Cystic fibrosis or CF is, it is a disease that affects not just the lungs but also the entire body especially the GI system. CF causes problems with the way the body absorbs salt causing a buildup of thick sticky mucus, not just in the lungs but also in the intestines, bile ducts, and other areas including the liver. What is currently going on is I have poor lung function and no real quality of life without many many heavy pain meds. I am also losing functions fairly quickly because of the mucus build up and weakening muscles, which causes a lot of pain especially in my chest. So, I made the decision to go on to hospice. I believe that God will take care of me and i will go to heaven when the time comes. Because like the bible says in 1st John 3:2-3 "Dear friends, now we are children of god, and what we will has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.: So, I know when the time comes, I will see God in all his glory, and he will completely heal my body inside and out.
